Homage to Ms Sewell

With her willowy limbs, superb bone structure and fabulous hair, you know Yasmin Sewell would have fit right in to the pages of Vogue or the runways of Chanel. But instead of falling off the end of the runway she has been the guiding force for fashion in London, and as a result the rest of the world, for the past decade.

Sewell's is a career that I greatly admire. She has worked with admirable determination to become one of the world's most respected buyers, fashion forecasters and stylists, without the aid of a famous name or a cushy bank account. And she's an Aussie too which gives girls from Down Under the hope that they can make it on the world stage.
Her business moves have been continually smart and she has a talent that puts her above and beyond her peers in the same field.

I have loved watching all the clips from RAFW and the way she talks with such knowledge and conviction- not an easy task when you've just had a baby (the gorgeous Knox) and are floating off the back of recent nuptials!

And it would just be silly if I didn't mention her incredible sense of style; her breezy mix of masculine tailoring with feminine touches suits her body perfectly. Not to mention her hair, which give me hope that one day I can have short hair that doesn't erupt in a mass of frizz!

Yasmin Sewell, I salute you.
