Bec and Bridge

After following the link to their fedoras on the Grand Social website, I found myself salivating over the Bec and Bridge winter collection.

Where have I been? How did I not know about this collection?

sunglasses for the winter

While doing a search for some new sunglasses (im still waiting with bated breath to be able to afford the ellery x graz cats eyes), I stumbled across the Aussie sunglasses site

Stocking the who's who of cult sunnie designers, such as Oliver Peoples, Karen Walker, ksubi and AM eyewear, the site has a great range of fashionista favourites.

Through the site I have now also discovered the French brand Thierry Lasry, and am now lusting over these babies...grey please!

Shakuhachi's bold challenge

(images c/o littleblackbook)

The girls at Shakuhachi must have heard my call when I gave myself the challenge of wearing more colour (which isn't helped today with my black outfit), as their collection for SS'11 at RAFW was a brilliance of bold pinks, yellows and oranges, that is sure to make my summer tan pop!

law abiding citizen

I'm really wanting to buy myself a vintage-style bicycle to cruise around the streets of Elwood...but the scary streets of Melbourne aren't safe without a helmet

And as far as bike helmets go...well they're all ugly

So i've been trying to think up a good design for a ladies leisure helmet, had come up with my design, and BAM this pic came up on garance dore's blog- Exactly what I was thinking...part bike helmet, part riding helmet!

tuesday tidings

this little joe dress look is my favourite <3

Living vicariously through those lucky Sydney bloggers snapping their lenses at RAFW

p.s. how friggin' cute is Miranda Kerr at the Met Ball

and so it begins...

While I absolutely loved most of Zimmermann's Halcyon Days SS'11 collection, this was my favourite look

May have to put my name down for this baby

(oh I wish I could be in Sydney for RAFW)

who's creek was it again?

Lately i've been catching up with my favourite former Capeside locals

Captured in a time of innocence; before oscar nominations, career failures, dating german supermodels and a marriage to a certain scientologist...

I'm on the hunt for a new shampoo and conditioner at the moment (plus a haircut), so I'm finding this pic rather relevant at the moment

Any recommendations for shampoo & conditioner?

Tights tights tights

mimco rose lace tights

sportsgirls polka dot tights

henry holland @ asos

asos knee highs

The start of May usually heralds chilly mornings and the start of the winter crisp..

..but it also signals the perfect time to whip those warm and stylish tights out from the bottom of the drawer!

I always find that a bold, printed pair of tights can lift a bland outfit and give it a new bit of spunk

These examples are of the style I think i'll go for this year...steering clear of bright colours, i'll let the prints speak for themselves

the week that was

It's definitely been an I heart Melbourne week; the beautiful autumn weather giving us what I think will be our last taste of heat for a while

(sorry about the pic quality, theyre all phone photos!)

The big mouth, aka Luna it's been a while since i've been there

The shell, and future site of Zara Melbourne...I really thought they were further along than this...the poster's been up for ages

Pretties at Zomp (heaven)
