Chain gang

The other day mum and I nipped up to our local Westfield (a good 50minutes away) to source some winter goodies for mum's new wardrobe...and boy did we find some goodies!

What a fantastic selection all the chain stores have this year, helped no doubt but the beautiful trends of the winter.

Chunky knits, delicate shirts and fur encrusted gillets galore!

I also decided to dabble into the shoulder-less shirt trend, with a cheapie from Supre to ease myself into it

Dinosaur Designs

Obviously not home wares, but so pretty I had to include it!

I'm just about to move out again (finally) so naturally i'm on the hunt for home wares to decorate the new abode.

Dinosaur Designs has always had a casually luxurious air to me, with it's marbled resin bracelets and freehand bowls and serving platters in the most magnificent array of colours.

Sadly, my current budget does not cover these pieces but it's nice to dream ;)

Leather, leather, leather

zadig & voltaire leather pants

For the past month or so I've been drawn more and more to leather pants/leggings as a viable option for the upcoming winter months.

Anyone know where about I can some of these babies that won't break the bank?

blog lovin'

Justine Cullen (right) and the cast of Park St

Delicious apartment image from Untitled

I wanted to share my two newest blog obsessions, and Monday morning seems the perfect day to do it...

Firstly, my sister put me on to the blog of Shop til you Drop editor, super mum and all round stylish lady Justine Cullen, aptly named Mumming in Heels (http://mumminginheels.tumblr.com/)
Shop has been a favourite mag of mine pretty much since it came out, for it's originality and its combination of my two favourite past times...magazines and shopping!
As a result, Ms Cullen's career has fascinated me and it's always a bit of voyeuristic pleasure getting an insight into the thought process of ones you admire.
This is further fueled by the new Foxtel series Park St and it's insider look into the world of magazines.

And it was through Mumming in Heels that I was linked to the rather illusive blog Untitled (http://whichbrain.tumblr.com/)...on which i have right clicked and saved a folder's worth of dream home interiors

I want her job!

I'm having a major case of job envy after thecoveteur.com decided to make us all jealous by showcasing the wardrobe of Vogue's event directer Sylvana Ward Durrett.

Not only is she gorgeous but she has an incredible wardrobe, AND she organises at least 30 events a year for Vogue USA- including their annual Costumer Institute Benefit at the MET.
